Március 27-én ünnepelte 79. születésnapját Tallai Ferencné tanárnő.
Sóváradon született. Tanulmányait Székesfehérváron végezte, majd az ELTE bölcsészettudományi karán szerzett előbb történelem ( 1955 ) majd magyar nyelv és irodalom szakos (19589 tanári diplomát.
A tanítást 1955-ben kezdte a Petőfi Sándor Gimnáziumban. 1958-ban az Erkel Ferenc Ének-zenei Általános Iskolába, 1960-ban a Kertvárosi Általános Iskolába került, majd 1961-től lett a Türr István Gimnázium és Óvónői Szakközépiskola tanára. 1985-ben nyugdíjazták, de ezt követően még néhány évig óraadóként dolgozott iskolánkban.
Munkáját 1979-ben Miniszteri Dicsérettel ismerték el.
