kosárlabdaA korosztályos kosárlabda-válogatott (U16) oszlopos tagja Horváth Kristóf István, a Pápai KC sportolója, a Türr Gimnázium 10. g osztályának tanulója. A válogatott csapat már az augusztusi Európa-bajnokságra készül; a szűk keret nemzetközi tornákon alakul ki. Eredményeiről s terveiről beszélgettünk Kristóffal.

- Mióta kosarazol?

- Édesapám nyomdokain haladva, aki hosszú időn át játszott az élvonalban, mondhatom, a pálya mellett nőttem fel, egészen kicsi gyermekkorom óta életem egyik meghatározó tényezője a kosárlabda. A válogatottba 2011 óta hívnak meg rendszeresen, minden edzőmnek nagyon sokat köszönhetek.

- Melyik poszton játszol?

- Irányítóként vagy bedobóként.

- Milyen gyakran edzel? S van-e kedvenc csapatod, játékosod?

- Hetente minden nap járok edzésre, s ha van időm, a tévében is nézek meccseket. Érdekel az NBA is, kedvenc csapatom az Oklahoma City Thunder, kedvenc játékosom: Lebron James és Kevin Durant, példaképem pedig az édesapám.

- A sok edzés nem befolyásolja a tanulmányi eredményedet?

- Nagyon fontosnak tartom a tanulást, s igyekszem összehangolni az élsporttal. Eddig ez sikerült, s bízom benne, hogy így lesz a jövőben is.

- Szeretnél profi lenni?

- Majd elválik, mindenesetre szeretnék az élet minden területén sikereket elérni, lehetőségeim és adottságaim maximális kihasználásával.
